Sai Baba strongly advised against engaging in intellectual debates and arguments. As recorded in Chapter 2, he taught that a mind inclined towards argumentation is filled with ignorance and Maya, lacking the purity required for self-knowledge. He warned that such a person is consumed by bad thoughts and false logic, leading to unhappiness in this life and the next.
