What was Nanasaheb Chandorkar's initial reaction when he was told that Sai Baba had called for him?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

When Narayan Govind, or Nanasaheb Chandorkar, was first told that Maharaj had called for him, his reaction was one of disbelief and skepticism. Chapter 0 explains that a man named Appa delivered the message, but Nanasaheb did not believe him. He suspected that Appa might be using Maharaj's name for his own purposes and challenged him, saying, "Why use Maharaj's name pointlessly? If you have some work with me, say it clearly." It was only because Appa stated with absolute certainty that Maharaj had indeed called for him that Nanasaheb was finally persuaded to go for darshan, an event that would ultimately fix his faith.
