What was Kashiram's business, and what lesson did he learn about pride and prosperity?

Kashiram was a cloth merchant who would set up his shop in different villages on their market days. At one point, he faced financial hardship and had to borrow money until his lender stopped giving him any more. Chapter 0 explains that this entire situation was a 'Leela' orchestrated to remove Kashiram's pride. He had a profound realization that he did not possess the power to give. As soon as he accepted this, his financial condition began to improve, and he once again became prosperous as he was before, with his anxiety about giving Dakshina completely vanishing.
