What was it about Sai Baba's presence and stories that so deeply captivated his followers?

The devotees found that they could never get enough of Sai Baba's presence. As described in Chapter 22, there was no satiety reached by looking at His face, conversing with Him, or listening to His stories; the bliss they felt was so immense it could not fit in the heart. His conduct was powerful and beyond comprehension, sometimes speaking with hidden meanings, sometimes joking, and always infallible. The devotees were so eager to listen because it was said the joy of Sai's company and the faith generated from these anecdotes were immeasurable, much like trying to measure raindrops or tie the wind in a bundle.
