What was Gopalrao Gund's role in the community, and how did his plans for the Masjid change based on Maharaj's guidance?

📖 Chapter 0

Gopalrao Gund was the Revenue Circle Inspector of Kopargaon and became a devout follower of Maharaj after being blessed with a son. According to Chapter 0, he noticed the Masjid was in a dilapidated state and, wanting to honor Maharaj, he collected stones with the intention of rebuilding it. However, Maharaj did not grant him permission for this project. Instead, Maharaj commanded that the stones Gund had gathered be used for constructive purposes elsewhere in the village. Consequently, the stones were used to build the Shani temple and renovate other local temples, demonstrating how Maharaj redirected a devotee's good intentions for the broader welfare of the community.
