What was Damu Anna's profession and how did he demonstrate his devotion during the Ram Navami festival?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 25

Damu Anna was a well-to-do person from Ahmednagar who worked as a Kasar, or bronze-smith. His deep devotion to Sai Baba was demonstrated through a significant, long-standing vow related to the annual Ram Navami festival. As chronicled in Chapter 25, he consistently provided one of the two large new flags that were carried in a procession through Shirdi village. This procession, accompanied by musical instruments, would start from the house of Kondaji Sutara and conclude with the flags being tied to the ends of the Masjid. This regular, uninterrupted act of devotion showcased his profound faith and love for Sai.
