What was considered miraculous about the way Maharaj's sleeping plank was suspended?

The wooden plank Maharaj slept on was hung from the rafters of the Masjid using old rags. The miraculous aspect, as described in Chapter 0, was the condition of these rags. They were not considered strong enough to bear even the weight of the plank by itself. However, due to what the text calls Maharaj's power, these old rags were able to support the combined weight of both the heavy plank and Maharaj's body. This defiance of physical limitations was a source of wonder for all who saw it.
