What was Cholkar's personal struggle and the vow he made to Sai Baba?

📖 Chapter 15

According to Chapter 15, a devotee named Cholkar faced significant worldly struggles, described metaphorically as a 'threshold-ghat' (home expenses) that was very difficult to cross. In the midst of these difficulties, he made a vow to Sai Baba. This vow involved a personal sacrifice: he would treat sugar as an inedible substance and completely avoid it until he was able to fulfill his promise to visit Shirdi. The text mentions that for some time, he even drank his tea without any sugar. When he finally managed to go to Shirdi, he joyfully fulfilled his vow by having Baba's darshan, distributing sugar, and offering a coconut.
