What was Balasaheb Deo's specific struggle with reading the Dnyaneshwari, and what did he do about it?

📖 Chapter 41

Balasaheb Deo had a profound desire to read the Dnyaneshwari daily, but he consistently failed to maintain the practice. As detailed in Chapter 41, this was particularly frustrating because he could read other books, like the Bhagavad Gita, with regularity. Whenever he attempted to read the Dnyaneshwari, doubts would arise in his heart, making the reading feel superficial and preventing him from developing a genuine love for it. After becoming distressed by his inability to even read five verses daily, Deo made a firm resolution. He decided he would only begin reading the scripture when Sai Baba himself gave him a direct order and the love for it, thus placing his spiritual struggle at his Guru's feet.
