What was Balasaheb Deo's main spiritual struggle described in this chapter, and how did he try to resolve it?

📖 Chapter 41

Balasaheb Deo's primary spiritual struggle was his inability to consistently read the sacred text, Dnyaneshwari, on a daily basis. As detailed in Chapter 41, despite having a great desire and making resolutions, some obstacle would always arise, preventing him from maintaining the practice. This was in contrast to other books, like the Bhagavad Gita, which he could read regularly. After becoming distressed by his repeated failures, even to read five verses a day, Deo made a firm resolve. He decided to completely surrender the issue to his Guru, vowing that he would only begin reading the Dnyaneshwari again when Sai Baba Himself gave the explicit order and the love to do so.
