What was Baba's physical appearance and what was he doing when Chand Patil first saw him?

Chapter 5 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra provides a clear description of Sai Baba when Chand Patil first encountered him under a mango tree. He was seen wearing a cap on his head and a kafni on his body. He also had a short stick, referred to as a 'satka', under his arm. At that moment, he was occupied with preparing a chillum, a type of smoking pipe, by crushing tobacco. It was from this tranquil, rustic scene that he called out to the passing Chand Patil, inviting him to rest and share a smoke.
