What specific vow did Balasaheb Deo make about reading the Dnyaneshwari after his repeated failures?

📖 Chapter 41

After numerous failed attempts to read the Dnyaneshwari regularly, Balasaheb Deo became very distressed. According to Chapter 41, he had tried to establish a daily reading rule and even attempted to read just five verses a day, but could not maintain the discipline. Because of this, he made a specific vow based on his faith in Sai Baba. He resolved from the heart that he would only start reading the sacred text when Sai Himself provided the love for it and explicitly said, 'Read.' He then sat with this firm resolve, placing the responsibility entirely at Sai’s feet before his next visit to Shirdi.
