What specific spiritual activity did Sai Baba engage in during the final two weeks of his life?

📖 Chapter 44

According to the account in Chapter 44, Sai Baba, knowing his end was near, dedicated his final days to a specific spiritual observance. For fourteen continuous days and nights, he engaged in focused contemplation while listening to the Ramayana being recited by a Brahmin. This period of intense listening concluded on the day of Vijayadashami, which is when Baba attained the state of bodilessness, or Mahasamadhi. This act of listening to the epic tale was his primary spiritual practice immediately preceding his departure from the physical world.
