What specific rituals and actions took place when Baba and the procession arrived at the Chavadi?

Upon arriving before the Chavadi, the procession would pause. As Chapter 51 recounts, Baba would stop and face north, performing what appeared to be ritual hand movements, as if calling someone with his right hand. After this, he would be taken with honor and seated in the Chavadi. There, devotees would lovingly adorn him. His feet would be washed, and he would be offered beautiful ornaments like garlands of diamonds and pearls, a golden crown, or a turban. Fragrant sandalwood was applied to his body, a musk mark on his forehead, and betel leaf (tambool) was placed in his mouth, completing the worship.
