What specific personal sacrifice did Cholkar make, and how did he finally fulfill his original vow to Sai Baba?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 15

As narrated in Chapter 15, after making a vow to distribute sugar candy upon passing his exam, Cholkar faced a long delay due to financial constraints. As a personal penance and to maintain his resolve during this period, he completely gave up sugar, treating it as an "inedible substance" and even drinking his tea unsweetened. When he eventually gathered the means to travel, he went to Shirdi. There, he fulfilled his original vow by having Sai Baba's darshan, prostrating at his feet, and distributing sugar with a pure heart, feeling that all his desires had been fulfilled.
