What specific instructions did Sai Baba give to Mhalasapati before entering his three-day trance?

Before entering his deep trance in 1886, Sai Baba gave very specific and firm instructions to his devotee, Mhalasapati. As documented in Chapter 44, Baba first declared his intention to draw his life force into the crown of his head for three days. He then pointed to a spot and said, "Dig a Samadhi there and keep me in that place." Addressing Mhalasapati directly and firmly, Baba commanded him, "Do not leave me or neglect me for three days." He also instructed that two flags should be placed at the designated spot as indicative signs. These commands placed a heavy responsibility on Mhalasapati, who faithfully guarded the seemingly lifeless body against the wishes of others who believed Baba had died.
