What specific holy books did Sai Baba have his devotees read in Shirdi, and why were they considered so important?

📖 Chapter 18

Sai Baba placed great importance on the daily reading of specific sacred texts, primarily the Jnaneshwari, also known as Bhavartha Deepika, and the Nath Bhagawat, which is the eleventh Skandha of the Bhagavat. As described in Chapter 18, these were considered divinely inspired books. The Nath Bhagawat, a dialogue between Krishna and Uddhava, was even considered superior to the Krishna-Arjuna dialogue in the Bharata. Baba assigned Bapusaheb Jog the task of reading these scriptures daily in Sathe’s Wada, believing that those who perform the reading with faith could attain God instantly. This practice was a key part of his method for the salvation of souls and the welfare of his devotees.
