What specific Hindu and Muslim practices were observed in the mosque where Sai Baba lived?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 7

The mosque in Shirdi was a unique space that blended practices from both Hinduism and Islam, reflecting Sai Baba's universal message. While it was a mosque, Chapter 7 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra notes that a sacred Hindu fire, the Dhuni, burned there day and night. The sounds of Hindu worship, such as the ringing of bells and the blowing of conches, were common. Furthermore, bhajans were sung and a Tulsi Vrindavan was maintained. Simultaneously, Baba permitted Muslims to conduct their Namaj (prayers) during Eid and make a Tabut for Moharram, showing his acceptance of all forms of worship.
