What specific advice did Sai Baba give to Damu Anna regarding his business aspirations?

📖 Chapter 25

When Damu Anna of Nagar wrote a letter seeking permission for a business venture, Sai Baba advised strongly against it. According to Chapter 25, even before the letter was read by Madhavrao (Shama), Baba perceived its contents, stating that Damu Anna was trying to "touch the sky." After listening to the letter, Baba's formal reply was direct and clear: "Tell him in reply: what do you lack at home? Half a loaf of bread is enough for us; do not fall into the trap of millions." This counsel explicitly prioritized contentment with what one has over the ambitious pursuit of immense wealth.
