What specific actions or rituals did Sai Baba perform just before He would depart from the Masjid for the Chavadi procession?

Before setting out for the Chavadi, Sai Baba performed a few distinct rituals as detailed in Chapter 37. After being dressed by Tatya Patil in a golden-bordered shawl over His usual kafni, Baba would first go to a wall where a bundle of firewood was kept. There, He would move His right big toe for a moment at that spot. Following this, He would personally wave His right hand over a burning flame, extinguishing it with His own hand. Only after completing these actions would Sai Baba begin the procession, at which point the music and fireworks would commence.
