What specific actions constitute complete surrender to the Guru for the purpose of removing fear?

📖 Chapter 37

To remove the fear of worldly existence, Chapter 37 outlines what complete surrender to the Satguru entails. It is a multi-faceted act of devotion. You must surrender with your body, speech, and mind, and also offer all five pranas, or life-breaths. Furthermore, your decisive intellect must be merged with and made entirely subordinate to the Guru. When this total surrender is achieved, the scripture assures that there is no more reason to worry about the world, as the Guru himself takes on the role of removing all obstacles and bestowing the non-dual intellect that leads to a state of absolute fearlessness.
