What sacred texts did Sai Baba emphasize for daily reading in Shirdi, and who was responsible for it?

📖 Chapter 18

Sai Baba strongly encouraged the daily reading of sacred scriptures for the spiritual welfare of his devotees. As detailed in Chapter 18, the two main books were the Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavat. Specifically, the texts read aloud were the 'Jnaneshwari' (also called Bhavartha Deepika), a commentary on the Gita, and the eleventh Skandha of the Bhagavat, known as 'Nath Bhagawat'. Baba assigned this important task to Bapusaheb Jog, who would conduct the readings with great joy and provide explanations in Sathe's Wada after receiving Baba's permission each day.
