What's the story of the Sai Baba portrait that was revealed when Dixit and Madhavrao met?

During the first meeting between Dixit and Madhavrao at Mirikar’s house, a significant event involving a portrait of Sai Baba occurred. According to Chapter 51, this particular photograph was deeply revered by Megha, a devoted disciple who worshipped it as Lord Shankar. The glass on the portrait had broken, so it had been sent from Shirdi to Ahmednagar with Balasaheb Mirikar for repairs. After being fixed, the portrait was kept covered in Mirikar’s drawing room, seemingly waiting for Dixit's arrival. After Dixit and Madhavrao finalized their travel plans, Balasaheb unveiled the portrait. As Balasaheb was staying for a horse show, he entrusted the repaired portrait to Madhavrao to take back to Shirdi.
