The construction of the Dixit Wada was a direct result of Kakasaheb Dixit's growing devotion to Sai Baba following his first visit. His first thought was to help build a tin roof for pilgrims, but this idea soon evolved into a firm decision to build a spacious stone Wada. He sought Baba's approval, and the foundation stone was laid the following year on December 10th, creating a significant structure for visiting devotees.
