What's the difference between genuine devotion to Sai and just going through the motions of worship?

The text gives examples like looking at an idol with your eyes while your speech is locked, hearing Sai's praise while your tongue is preoccupied with the taste of mangoes, or touching Sai's feet while still desiring the comfort of soft beds. This lack of singular focus and the inability to detach from the world is what distinguishes hollow worship from the true state of devotion.
