What role did Das Ganu play in Ratanji's life, and what did Ratanji do after receiving his advice?

📖 Chapter 14

Das Ganu served as a spiritual guide for the troubled merchant Ratanji. As Chapter 14 recounts, Ratanji had great faith in Das Ganu and confided in him about his deep sorrow over not having a son. In response, Das Ganu advised him, 'Go to Shirdi; you will obtain your heart's desire.' He instructed Ratanji to seek Sai Baba's darshan, surrender to Him, and explain his problem, assuring him that Baba's power was 'inconceivable.' Ratanji found this advice appealing and resolved to follow it. Shortly thereafter, he traveled to Shirdi, went to the Masjid for darshan, and prostrated at Sai Baba's feet to seek his blessing.
