What rituals were performed for Sai Baba once he arrived and was seated in the Chavadi?

📖 Chapter 51

Upon arriving at the Chavadi, a series of loving rituals were performed for Baba. Chapter 51 explains that after stopping to face north and making ritual hand movements, Baba would be seated. Devotees would then lovingly adorn Him with ornaments and clothes, such as a crest, a beautiful crown, or a turban with a gold-embroidered dress. Garlands of diamonds, pearls, and emeralds were placed around His neck. His feet were washed, sandalwood and saffron paste were applied, and betel leaf (tambool) was placed in His mouth before a beautiful arati was performed with lamps and camphor.
