Once the procession arrived and Baba was seated in the Chavadi, a series of loving rituals would commence. As detailed in Chapter 51, devotees would adorn Him with various beautiful items. This included placing a crest, plume, or a golden crown on His head, and dressing him in a gold-embroidered outfit. Devotees lovingly placed garlands of diamonds, pearls, and emeralds around His neck. Further worship involved applying a fragrant musk mark on His forehead, washing His feet with water, applying saffron paste, and placing a betel leaf, or tambool, in His mouth, all as acts of deep reverence.
