What qualities should a person cultivate to be considered a 'blessed seeker' on the path to liberation?

📖 Chapter 45

To become a 'blessed seeker of liberation,' one must develop specific virtues and a dedicated mindset as outlined in Chapter 45. A seeker must practice discrimination between the eternal, which is Brahman, and the transient world. They must renounce the desire for the fruits of enjoyment in this life and the next. Furthermore, a seeker needs to achieve the 'six-fold virtues,' such as calmness and self-control. Most importantly, the text emphasizes giving up hope in others for spiritual salvation, maintaining strong self-confidence, and taking personal responsibility for one's journey. Only such a person, who girds up their own loins, is said to achieve the spiritual goal.
