What prompted Damodar Savlaram to begin the tradition of bringing a new flag for Ram Navami?

As detailed in Chapter 0, Damodar Savlaram, also known as Damu Shet Kasar, was very unhappy because he had no son from either of his two wives. Following a suggestion to seek Maharaj's blessing, he came to visit. Maharaj gave his blessing, and Damu Shet subsequently had a son. This event solidified his faith in Maharaj immensely. Out of profound gratitude and devotion, he took a vow to bring a new flag every Ram Navami and to feed all the Fakirs gathered on that day, a tradition that the text notes is still ongoing.
