What promise was made at the end of the previous chapter, and why does Chapter 53 say it wasn't fulfilled?

📖 Chapter 53

In the preceding chapter of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, the author Hemadpant made a specific promise to his readers. As recounted in Chapter 53, he stated, "First I will look back (review), then provide the summary, and thus complete the book." However, this promised summary was never written by him. Chapter 53 explains that this was not an oversight but a result of Hemadpant's sudden passing. The text philosophically notes that "Nothing happens by one's own will; Baba’s will is more powerful," attributing the non-fulfillment of the promise to divine will rather than human failure, which created the need for this concluding chapter to be written by someone else.
