What promise did Babasaheb Tarkhad make regarding the daily worship, and how did he end up breaking it?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 9

Babasaheb Tarkhad made a solemn promise to his son to ensure the daily worship of Sai Baba continued while his son was in Shirdi. According to Chapter 9, he gave his word that he would personally offer 'Naivedya' to Sai's image every day and that nobody in the household would eat before this offering was made. For a time, Tarkhad diligently followed this rule, offering a piece of sugar candy daily. However, the vow was broken one day when, being the chief officer of a large mill, his mind was preoccupied with business. He completely forgot to make the offering before going out. Consequently, the entire family had their meals that day without the Naivedya being offered to Sai, thus breaking his important promise.
