What problem did Das Ganu have with the Ishavasya Upanishad, and why did he go to Shirdi?

Das Ganu was working on a commentary called 'Ishavasya-Bhavartha-Bodhini' to explain the meaning of the Ishavasya Upanishad in simple Prakrit Ovi verses for people who didn't know Sanskrit. Chapter 20 explains that while he could do a word-for-word translation, he struggled to grasp the deep, internal meaning of the scripture. This lack of profound understanding meant his mind 'found no joy' in the work. Feeling stuck with this doubt, he decided to travel to Shirdi to place his problem at the feet of his Satguru, Sai Baba, seeking a resolution.
