What miraculous events occurred when Chand Patil first met the Fakir under the mango tree?

According to the account in Chapter 5, several miracles took place during Chand Patil's first meeting with the Fakir, Sai Baba. When Baba learned of Patil's lost mare, he simply told him to search near the streams, and the horse was found immediately. This alone made Patil believe he had met a saint. Furthermore, to light his chillum, the Fakir thrust a pair of tongs into the earth and pulled out a glowing ember. When he needed water to wet the cloth for the pipe, he struck his satka on the ground, and water began to flow. These events left Chand Patil completely stunned.
