What miracles did Sai Baba perform during his initial encounter with Chand Patil?

According to Chapter 5, Sai Baba performed two distinct miracles when he first met Chand Patil. The first was an act of clairvoyance. When Patil mentioned his horse was lost, Baba, appearing as a Fakir, immediately told him to "Go search near those streams," which led to the mare being found right away. This stunned Chand Patil. The second miracle occurred shortly after. To light the chillum he was preparing, Baba needed fire. Instead of using conventional means, he simply thrust a pair of tongs, or a 'chimta', into the earth and pulled out a glowing ember, which he then placed on the chillum. These acts convinced Chand Patil that he was in the presence of a divine being, not a 'mere human'.
