What medical and non-medical efforts were made to cure the bone-cyst before the family sought Sai Baba's help?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 34

According to Chapter 34, a comprehensive range of efforts were made before the family turned to Sai Baba. The boy's uncle was a degree-holding doctor, and he, along with his physician friends and expert surgeons, tried various treatments. The text explicitly mentions that "All native and foreign treatments were tried; all efforts were exhausted. Even surgery was attempted, but nothing succeeded." After the failure of these extensive medical interventions, the relatives then suggested turning to spiritual means, initially by worshipping various gods and their family deity. When that also seemed to yield no result, they finally decided to seek out the famous saint of Shirdi as a last resort.
