What made Amir Shakkar leave the Chavadi, and what happened right after he left without permission?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 22

Despite the great fortune of Sai Baba's constant companionship, Amir Shakkar eventually grew tired of his confinement in the Chavadi after nine months. Chapter 22 states that the stay began to feel like a prison to him, and his mind, desiring freedom, rebelled against the dependency. Thinking, "Enough of this prison!", he made the decision to leave without seeking Baba's permission. He abandoned his assigned place and went to Kopergaon, where he stayed in a Dharmashala. Immediately upon arriving, a significant event occurred: he encountered a Fakir on the verge of death from thirst, and the moment Amir gave him water, the Fakir's body became lifeless.
