What led the family of the sick boy to seek Sai Baba's help, and what was their plea to him?

According to Chapter 34 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, the family turned to Sai Baba after all other options were exhausted. Their young son suffered from a bone-cyst that no medical remedy, whether from physicians or expert surgeons, could cure. When their efforts reached their limit, they heard about a famous saint, Sai Maharaj of Shirdi, who could heal diseases and whose Udi could cure incurable ailments. Desperate, they saw this as their last resort. Upon reaching Shirdi, as described in Chapter 34, they prostrated at Baba's feet, narrated the child's suffering with choked voices, and pleaded with pitiful faces for him to place his hand of protection on the boy's head and remove the ailment, having come to seek refuge with total devotion.
