What led the family of the boy with the bone-cyst to seek help from Sai Baba?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 34

According to Chapter 34, the family of the boy with the bone-cyst turned to Sai Baba as a final resort after all other options were exhausted. The boy's uncle was a physician, yet he and his colleagues, including expert surgeons, were helpless against the ailment. They had tried all native and foreign treatments to no avail. When the disease did not subside in the least, the family first considered worshipping deities. Then, they heard of a famous Avaliya (saint) in Shirdi, Sai Maharaj, who could supposedly heal diseases just by his sight. Believing that if he applied Udi with his own hand even incurable diseases would perish, they decided to make the journey to try this last resort, seeking an experience that might avert their calamity.
