What led Damu Shet Kasar to become a devotee of Maharaj, and what vow did he take as a result?

📖 Chapter 0

Damodar Savlaram, also known as Damu Shet Kasar, was deeply saddened because he had no son from either of his two wives. As detailed in Chapter 0, he was advised by Govindrao Sapkar to visit and receive Maharaj's blessing. Following this visit, Maharaj gave a blessing, and Damu Shet was subsequently granted a son. This event firmly fixed his faith in Maharaj. In gratitude, he took a vow to bring a new ceremonial flag every year on Ram Navami and to feed all the Fakirs gathered on that day, a tradition that was still ongoing at the time of writing.
