What kind of blessings did Laxmichand ask for after witnessing Sai Baba's divine knowledge?

After realizing that Sai Baba knew his innermost thoughts, Laxmichand was overcome with devotion and pleaded for specific blessings. As recorded in Chapter 28, he folded his hands and asked for Baba's continued grace and protection. He prayed, "May this mind delight in Your worship, always at Your feet," and declared that he had no other God. Laxmichand also asked for Baba's gracious glance so that he would not suffer in worldly life, and prayed that he might attain nourishment and contentment through the simple act of singing Sai's name. He essentially asked for a life centered entirely on devotion to Baba.
