What is the universal principle described in Chapter 37, and how does ignorance affect one's perception of it?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 speaks of a single, universal principle that pervades everything, from the creator Brahma down to the smallest blade of grass, encompassing all moving and non-moving things. This principle is the same here on earth as it is in the hereafter, without any difference. However, a soul deluded by ignorance fails to perceive this unity. When this principle, which is devoid of worldly qualities, is combined with adjuncts (upadhis), it appears to the ignorant as if it were not Brahman. This leads to a sense of separation and the false knowledge that "I am something else," which perpetuates the cycle of existence.
