What is the ultimate spiritual goal described in the text, and how does patience help one realize the true nature of the Self?

📖 Chapter 37

The ultimate goal is the realization of the Self, which is described in Chapter 37 as being beyond qualities, old age, birth, and death. This Self is eternal, unborn, all-pervading like the sky, and changeless. The path to this realization involves destroying the 'knot in the heart'—the false body-consciousness and root of desire. This liberation is achieved through Brahma-Jnana, or the knowledge of Brahman. Sai Nath's words of infallible power assure us that 'a little patience of faith is needed' to achieve this state. Patience provides the steadfastness required to see beyond the transient, visible world and grasp the true, all-pervading essence of the Self.
