What is the ultimate goal of Moksha, and how is it different from other spiritual achievements?

📖 Chapter 50

The ultimate goal, known as Moksha or liberation, is defined very precisely in the text. According to Chapter 50, Moksha is simply 'abiding in one's own form.' It is not an external attainment but a realization of one's true nature. The text explicitly states that 'other than this, there is no other liberation.' This state is achieved only when the deep-seated ignorance (Avidya) that forms the 'causal body' is completely removed. This removal, in turn, happens exclusively through the dawning of the knowledge of the unity between Brahman and the Soul. Therefore, Moksha is the final state of non-duality, distinct from any temporary happiness or intellectual achievement.
