What is the story Sai Baba told about being robbed of thirty thousand rupees, and how did he get his money back?

📖 Chapter 36

In Chapter 36, Sai Baba narrates a second story about a time he was robbed. While wandering, he was welcomed into the mansion of a wealthy Brahmin who gave him food and a place to sleep. However, while Baba slept, the Brahmin robbed him of thirty thousand rupees in currency notes. Heartbroken, Baba stayed on the veranda in a pitiable state for fifteen days. A passing Fakir saw his grief and gave him advice, saying, "I will tell you about a Fakir and give you his address. Go and surrender to him; he will give you back your wealth." The Fakir also instructed Baba to renounce his favorite food until his wish was fulfilled. By following this vow and surrendering to the designated Fakir, Baba successfully recovered his money.
