What is the story of Das Ganu and Prayag, and what is its significance?

📖 Chapter 22

The story of Das Ganu, recounted in Chapter 22, teaches a powerful lesson about the Guru's divinity. When Das Ganu wished to go on a pilgrimage to bathe in the holy waters at Prayag, Baba provided a profound alternative right there. He instructed Das Ganu, "Know this big toe of Mine to be Prayag; bathe right here." In an act of complete faith, Das Ganu placed his head on Baba's feet, and miraculously, the waters of both the Ganga and Yamuna rivers manifested from Baba's toe. As Chapter 22 explains, this incident demonstrates Baba's 'unfathomable power' and shows that true holiness resides within the Guru, making external pilgrimages unnecessary for one who has surrendered at His feet.
