What is the story of Baba and the tiger?

The story, found in Chapter 31, describes an event that occurred seven days before Sai Baba's own passing. Three darveshis, who used a tiger for their livelihood, brought the animal to Shirdi because it was suffering from a disease. Believing in the power of a saint's darshan, they brought the fierce tiger before Baba. Upon seeing Sai, the tiger's demeanor changed. It looked at Baba, bowed its head reverently, struck its tail on the ground three times, and then died at His feet.
