What is the story of Alli Mohammed and the portrait of Sai Baba as recounted in Chapter 41?

Chapter 41 introduces the beginning of a story told by Alli Mohammed. He recounts that one day, while wandering the streets of Mumbai, he saw a merchant selling various pictures of saints and holy men. As he looked through them, one particular portrait of Sai Baba deeply appealed to his heart, its attractiveness being greater than all the others. Since Sai was already his worshipped deity, he felt an eagerness to have it, paid the price, and brought the portrait home. As described in Chapter 41, he hung it on his wall and would take daily Darshan with great love.
