What is the story behind the portrait of Sai Baba that was present during Dixit's first meeting with Madhavrao?

📖 Chapter 51

The portrait of Sai Baba played a symbolic role in the events at Mirikar's house. Chapter 51 explains that this specific photograph was deeply venerated by Megha, a devoted disciple who worshipped it as Lord Shankar. The glass of the portrait's frame had broken, so it had been sent from Shirdi with Balasaheb Mirikar to be repaired in Ahmednagar. After the repair, the portrait was kept covered in Mirikar's drawing room, as if waiting for Dixit. After Dixit and Madhavrao finalized their travel plans, Balasaheb unveiled the portrait and then entrusted it to Madhavrao to take back to Shirdi.
