What is the story behind the photograph of Sai Baba that was shown to Kakasaheb Dixit in Mirikar's house?

📖 Chapter 51

The photograph of Sai Baba shown to Kakasaheb Dixit had a special history, as recounted in Chapter 51. This particular portrait was deeply cherished by Megha, a devoted disciple who worshipped it as if it were Lord Shankar himself. Unfortunately, the glass covering the photograph had broken. Consequently, it was sent from Shirdi with Balasaheb Mirikar to Ahmednagar for repairs. After being fixed, the portrait was kept covered in Mirikar’s drawing room, seemingly waiting for Dixit's arrival. Following the finalization of the travel plans, Balasaheb unveiled this sacred portrait for Dixit and then entrusted it to Madhavrao to be safely returned to Shirdi.
